Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies BoxOfficeLoco uses and the choices you have. We keep it plain: we set only essential cookies to make the site work and to remember your choice on the cookie banner. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking, and we do not currently load any analytics. We never sell your data.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores in your browser so it can remember something — for example, that you are signed in, or that you have already answered the cookie banner. Some cookies are essential; others are optional and only used with your permission.

Essential cookies (always active)

These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They do not track you across other sites.

• Session (PHPSESSID) — set only if you sign in to an account, to keep you signed in while you use it.
• Security (CSRF) — protects forms and account actions from cross-site request forgery.
• Cookie choice (cookie_consent) — remembers the preference you set on the cookie banner, so we do not ask again.

If you only browse the site (the kill-count data, comparisons and timeline) without an account, the only cookie set is your cookie-banner choice.

Analytics cookies (optional — and not currently used)

BoxOfficeLoco loads no analytics today. There is no Google Analytics and no third-party tracking pixel on this site. The banner still offers an "Analytics" choice because we want the consent in place before any measurement is ever added: if we later introduce a first-party usage measure (our own, never sold, never shared with advertisers), it will load only if you have opted in here. Until then, choosing "Accept all" or "Essential only" sets no analytics either way.

Payment cookies (none)

We do not process payments on this site and set no payment cookies. If a way to support Veterans for Peace is offered here, any donation is handled on Veterans for Peace's own systems under their policies, not ours.

Your choices

• On your first visit, the banner lets you Accept all, choose Essential only, or Customize the analytics choice.
• You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
• You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings — but blocking the essential cookies will stop account sign-in from working.
